The Sports Vent had a very successful Final 4 Weekend in terms of predicting the winners with a record of 8-2. Peach County, Rockmart, Heard County, Cedar Grove, Athens Academy, ECLA, Clinch County, and Blessed Trinity all pulled out wins to support the TSV prediction generator. The 2 disappointments were Dacula and Pelham. Congratulations to Northside WR and Irwin County for proving the prognostication wrong. However, as predicted, Peach County and Cedar Grove both put down statement victories in the Final 4 against quality opponents. TSV will do a film analysis on these two teams later this week and will show you how they out schemed their opponents and also how well the players executed to set up a truly epic Championship clash. Rockmart has sent it's community into a frenzied state by defeating Callaway! The white out they have planned in the Benz is going to be a site to behold as they take on a talented and hard hitting Heard County team who beat a well coached program in Fitzgerald behind a huge performance from UT committ Aaron Beasley. Athens Academy was able to put together a very business like defeat of Prince Avenue, but the game changes completely this week with powerhouse ECLA looming. Finally, Blessed Trinity flipped the script on their normal behvior this time of the year. The Titans are typically locked in lower scoring, defensive battles this time of the year, but BT found themselves having to outscore a wideopen attack from Troup County. Kobe Hudson and Joko Willis may have just done BT a huge favor by exposing some of their problem areas against the spread offense just in time for Tim McFarlin and company to address them ahead of a matchup with Cartersville. There were many other surprising and excited finishes like that of Colquitt County's game vs. Archer and Bainbridge continues to be Cinderella and will dance all the way to Atlanta. It's an excited time for football and the TSV will have you covered for every State Championship matchup!
